In the UK, Spectron operates two FSA regulated companies - Spectron Energy Services Limited (FRN 193027) and Spectron Commodities Limited (FRN 185065).  Spectron Energy Services also has two branch offices, one in Norway, from which it runs its Olso-based tanker freight and dry options business, and another in Germany which brokers European non-standard power and options.  As well as offering a voice broking service, Spectron operates an electronic trading platform which is a MiFID-compliant Multi-lateral Trading Facility.

In the US, Spectron Energy Inc is regulated by the National Futures Association.
