European Electricity

Spectron operates one of the largest marketplaces for wholesale electricity in Europe – with billions of euros worth of power traded through its hybrid electronic/phone broking system every month.

Its broad coverage includes the German, French, Nordic, Dutch, Belgian, Czech, Swiss and Danish markets (for the UK market please click link below). Tradable products include: physical electricity forwards, options, locational spreads, inter-period spreads and non-standard load shapes - from Day-ahead out to 10 years ahead. OTC clearing is available on most markets.

Spectron also publishes a range of European power indices, which have become key pricing benchmarks for many market participants.
