Spectron to run REC auction for City of Orange
Spectron Environmental, the environmental products arm of leading commodities brokerage Spectron, is pleased to announce it is to run an auction of solar RECs (Renewable Energy Certificates) for the City of Orange, New Jersey, next week.
The sealed bid auction is for 145 reporting year 2009 New Jersey solar RECs, and will take place on June 23, from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. EDT. A reserve price of $675/SREC has been set. No partial volume bids will be accepted and all bidders must pre-register with Spectron. Results will be announced at 5.00 p.m.
