Spectron operates one of the largest marketplaces for wholesale electricity in Europe – with several billion euros worth of power traded through its hybrid electronic/phone broking system every month.
Its broad coverage includes the German, French, Dutch, Belgian and Danish markets. Tradable products include: physical electricity forwards, options, locational spreads, inter-period spreads and non-standard load shapes - from Day-ahead out to 10 years ahead. OTC clearing is available on most markets.
Spectron also publishes a range of European power indices, which have become key pricing benchmarks for many market participants.
